Tools for self-sufficiency

Your support will enable our local staff to provide practical ways out of poverty

By making a donation to this project, you can offer a helping hand out of poverty for people with disabilities in Cambodia and Timor Leste.

Disabled people in these countries face discrimination at every level of society. Your support will help disabled children into school and adults into employment and self-employment.

We need to raise £100,000 to support this project this year.

  • £3 will buy a school uniform - many disabled children cannot attend school because their parents are too poor to afford these costs
  • £25 will provide a small grant to enable an adult to buy tools or stock to establish a small business
  • £30 will buy a bicycle to enable a child with disabilities to get to school
