SCHOOL PROFILE
The Cambodian School of Prosthetics and Orthotics (CSPO) is a training institution that provides professional training on artificial limbs and assistive device for people with disabilities. For the new intake the school is aiming to select a number of Cambodian students. The diploma course is 3 years full time study taught in English.
CSPO is part of Cambodia Trust, a non-profit organization and the only prosthetics and orthotics training provider in Cambodia. The course has students from 15 countries from low income countries. Graduates obtain a national diploma and an internationally recognized from the International Society of Prosthetics and Orthotics (ISPO).
CSPO GOALS:
- To train skilled Prosthetists and Orthotists to meet the demand for prosthetics and orthotics services in Cambodia and other low-income countries.
- To ensure that national (Cambodian) capacity is developed to deliver and sustain these services in the long term.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Baccalaureate
- Good working knowledge of English (in listening, reading, writing and speaking), mathematics and biology
- Strong long-term commitment and motivation to work with persons with disabilities as a Prosthetist/Orthotist.
The exams on Mathematics, Physic, Biology and English will take place on Tuesday 6th September.
