Set yourself a physical or mental challenge and ask your friends and colleagues to sponsor you.
Our partner, Charity Challenge, runs a range of exciting events including a Saigon to Angkor Wat cycle ride. Four of our supporters have completed this ride, raising thousands of pounds for our work. Read more and sign up for a Charity Challenge
Entering a marathon is a great way of raising funds and you don't have to be an experienced runner to do it. You can find details of marathons around the world on websites such as Runner's World www.runnersworld.com
If you don't want to take part in an organised event, such as a walk or marathon, you could organise your own event and ask your friends, family and colleagues to sponsor you. For example, Matt Ramsey (left), who lost the lower part of his left leg in an horrific accident in 2001, climbed Aconcagua, the highest mountain outside of the Himalayas. Huw Spanner cycled from Paris to London in 24 hours.

What to do next...
Get in touch with us! If you are thinking of taking part in a challenge, contact us at office[at]cambodiatrust.org.uk so we can offer you any help and support you may need.
How we can help...
- We can provide you with a T-shirt to wear. Please email office[at]cambodiatrust.org.uk to request your T-shirt.
- Some organized events require the entry form to come from the charity rather than the individual - just let us know if this is the case with your event.
- We can help to publicise your achievement on our website and in the press.
- If you are putting a team together to enter an event such as the London Marathon, do get in touch as early as possible - we may then be able to apply for guaranteed charity places. Please bear in mind that your team will have to commit to raising a certain amount of sponsorship money, to cover the entry fees. Ordinarily we cannot offer individuals guaranteed places in these sort of events as unfortunately, at present, we do not have enough runners in any one event to justify the cost of guaranteed places.
