You could hold an event or organise a group to raise funds in your
area. Bear in mind that you will need a lot of time and energy - and
strong organisational skills!
An event can be anything from a screening of our documentary film for a few friends to a
concert for hundreds of people. Our supporters hold all sorts of events:
- Elizabeth Birkby holds concerts and gives talks to raise funds in her home town of Sheffield…
- High school student Billy sold cookies to raise funds and awareness in his school…
- 82-year old Peter Cork holds regular piano recitals…
- Ken and Ollie Finn and friends have organized a series of ‘Music from the Heart’ gigs in Brighton…
Join the party
In 2009 we are asking our supporters to join us in celebrating the Cambodia Trust's 20th anniversary, by holding 'birthday' parties to fundraise and friend-raise in support of our work. Join in the fun and hold your own party for the Trust! Read more....
How we can help with your event:
- Depending on your location, we may be able to provide a guest speaker to attend your event.
- We can publicise your event on our website and in our newsletter.
- We can provide you with our fundraising DVD and other publicity materials such as posters and T-shirts which you can sell.
Please let us know if you are holding an event in support of our work by emailing office[at]cambodiatrust.org.uk
