Our fundraisers play a very important role, helping to keep our most difficult-to-fund projects going and raising awareness of the need for our work.
If you would like to become a volunteer fundraiser, please contact Dee at office@cambodiatrust.org.uk. You can also download our Fundraising Toolkit, which contains lots of information and ideas - whether you have a lot of time to spare or just a little. We will support your efforts every step of the way by providing you with practical tools and advice to help you.
You can fundraise online using our partner websites, JustGiving.com and Bmycharity.com. It's easy to set up your own fundraising web page and it takes the hassle out of collecting your donations! Online fundraising is a great way to raise funds from sponsored events, such as marathons, or from anniversary, birthday or 'in memoriam' collections. The funds you raise are passed directly to us, with Gift Aid sorted out where applicable, saving us admin costs. If you are based in the USA, you can fundraise online using FirstGiving, JustGiving's US sister company.
If you would like to do something special to support our work this year, we have six places for runners wanting to participate in the Asics British 10k London run.
The date for the 2009 race is Sunday 12th July. The race starts at 9:35am.
For the last three years the race limit has been reached in advance of race day. The race organisers are advising runners to enter NOW to avoid disappointment.
The run promises to be a spectacular historic event through the heart of London involving hundreds of charities, Olympic athletes, and bands on a route dressed with Union Jacks! Entries are accepted on a first come first served basis.

Making a difference - our volunteers
All over the world, volunteers are making great contributions to our work - not just by fundraising but also by donating their time and skills. As a small organisation with limited resources, this help is really valuable to us! We’d like to say a big thank you to each and every person who gives their time and energy so generously. Here are just a few volunteer stories...
Craig St George is a web development expert from New Zealand who has recently done some technical work on our website, enabling us to securely share documents with our staff members across the world.
Sue Crow has set up an online donation service for the Cambodia Trust's supporter group in Australia, making it easier for Aussie donors to contribute to our work.
Photographers Simon Larbalestier, Susan Schulman and Andrew Smart have recently donated their wonderful images for use in our newsletters, annual reports and on our website. Having high quality images is a very important part of promoting our work, however professional photography can be expensive. Our talented volunteer photographers allow us to use their images free of charge. They also help to raise awareness of the ongoing need for our work by publishing and exhibiting their photographs.
