Film Director Roland Joffe to visit Trust

On Tuesday December 28th 2010, Oscar-nominated “Killing Fields” film director Roland Joffé will visit the Cambodia Trust and Cambodian School of Prosthetics and Orthotics (CSPO) in Phnom Penh. Joffé (65) was one of the initial funders of the Trust in 1989, together with film producer Lord Puttnam CBE.

“Mr Joffé’s support was vital for the establishment of the Cambodia Trust,” says Sisary Kheng, CSPO Manager. “Mr Joffé was one of a small group of committed individuals whose support enabled us to establish our first rehabilitation centre for landmine survivors in Phnom Penh. We are very grateful to have his ongoing support and we look forward to showing him how our organisation has continued to develop since his last visit to Cambodia.”
