Staff and students at our partnership project in Sri Lanka, SLSPO, participated in two sporting events to mark the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on December 3rd 2010.

96-97% of persons with disabilities in developing countries have no access to the rehabilitation services they need to enable them to participate in society.
An estimated 98% of children with disabilities in developing countries receive no education.
Adults with disabilities are 3 times more likely than non-disabled people to be unemployed and live in real poverty.
