Our thanks to Roland Joffe

DSC03873

In December 2010 the Cambodia Trust was honoured to host a visit by Oscar-nominated film director, Roland Joffe.

Roland, who has directed films including The Killing Fields and The Mission, was one of the founder funders of the Cambodia Trust. His support in the early days of our work, along with his film producer colleague Lord David Puttnam CBE, was instrumental in the establishment of the Trust's projects in Cambodia.

Roland's visit included a tour of CSPO's new building, meeting staff, students and clients, a boat trip (which Roland generously hosted for CSPO's students), and a community visit with Community Development Worker Lim Eng.

We are very grateful for Roland's ongoing and generous support of our work; while in Cambodia, he made a very generous donation and pledged his further support.

Thank you Roland, from everyone at the Cambodia Trust!
