Sisary becomes new CSPO Manager

Sisary receiving her Master'sMichael Scott, Cambodia Country Director, is delighted to announce that Sisary Kheng (left) has been appointed the Cambodian School of Prosthetics & Orthotics Manager-designate.

Sisary will begin her new role on April 1st and over the course of the next few months will gradually take over responsibilities from Cathy McConnell, the current CSPO Management Team Leader.

"This is a major step forward in the sustainability of CSPO," explains Michael. "Handing over management of the school to a highly qualified Khmer staff member marks a milestone in CSPO's development. We have now successfully phased out all expatriate posts at CSPO."

Sisary was one of CSPO's first female graduates. An outstanding student, she has worked her way up from assistant lecturer to CSPO Manager. She has a Bachelor's degree in Prosthetics & Orthotics (LaTrobe University) and Master of Science degree in Rehabilitation Studies (Strathclyde University)  as well as a Bachelor's Degree in Education. She also sits on the ISPO Education Committee.

Everyone at the Cambodia Trust would like to congratulate Sisary and wish her well in her new role.
