			<title>London 10k run - reserve your place!</title>

We have secured 6 places in the 2010 ASICS British 10K London Run.The date for race is Sunday 11th July 2010 and starts at 9:35am.  So plenty of time to train!The run promises to be another spectacular event especially as 2010 is the 10th Anniversary of the race.Registration costs just £36 and will entitle you to official Crono Track Chip Timing and an official race photograph.  We haven’t set a limit for minimum sponsorship this year, knowing that everyone always does their best.  Do come and join us - we’d love to have you on our team!If you think you are up to the challenge  and would like to do something special to support our work this year please contact Pat Desborough by email: pat[at]cambodiatrust.org.uk ...]]></description>

			<title>Nijmegen 4-days Marches</title>
			<description><![CDATA[
Fundraiser and supporter Huw Spanner is thinking of taking part in the 94th Four Days Marches 20-23 July 2010.The
Four Days Marches have a different route each day; through the
landscapes of Dutch provinces of Gelderland, Brabant and Limburg,
through the city of Nijmegen and its outskirts. Every walking day
revolves around a different town in the vicinity of Nijmegen. 			<title>Carson Harte wins award for leadership</title>
			<description><![CDATA[Cambodia Trust Executive Director, Carson Harte, has been recognised with a Voyager CO3 Award for Leadership.
Carson received his award at a ceremony in Belfast on February 4th.
We are delighted that our Executive Director has been honoured with
this award, which recognises the impact of his work building
partnerships for collaboration in the developing world. Carson has
established partnership projects in Cambodia, Timor-Leste, Sri Lanka
and Indonesia to build capacity in the delivery of rehabilitation
services for people with disabilities.
Carson has previously received the Gold Award for Humanitarian
Development from the Royal Government of Cambodia, for his role in

We are pleased to announce that the Cambodia Trust has been selected for a BBC Radio 4  Appeal.
As a long-time supporter of the Cambodia Trust, actor Richard Wilson OBE has very kindly agreed to present our appeal. We are very grateful for Richard for generously giving his time to support our work.
Please tune in to Richard’s broadcast as he tells a powerful story of the impact of our work. The appeal features the story of Lim Eng, a landmine survivor who became a Cambodia Trust community worker and is now helping others to regain their mobility and self-sufficiency.

			<title>Big Give - the final result</title>
			<description><![CDATA[A Big Thank You to everyone who donated to our work through The Big
Give.Thanks to you, we raised a staggering £9,582 in 5 days! This
amount will be doubled by the Reed Foundation and will go a long way to
supporting our rehabilitation centres in Cambodia.
As the Reed Foundation's matched funding ran out on Friday 11th
December, our original target was reduced. We didn't know this was
going to happen so we're sorry if any supporters were confused to see
our target amount changing.
If you missed The Big Give but you'd like to make a donation this year, don't worry, you can still donate online here on our website. The matched funding may have run out but we still need your support and every penny makes a difference!
