If you work in the UK, you can make a regular donation to the Cambodia Trust through your payroll. Payroll Giving, or Give As You Earn (GAYE), is a great way of supporting our work with little administrative cost for us. And receiving regular donations enables us to plan ahead and spend more time on our important work, and less time trying to raise funds!
In addition, your payroll contributions are tax free, and the British government will add an extra 10 percent onto your gift. Please ask your Payroll Department if they operate a payroll giving scheme.
Payroll Giving works like this:
Each time you are paid, your donation to the Cambodia Trust is deducted by your payroll department before tax is calculated. By giving directly from your pre-tax salary, the money that would normally go to the tax man benefits the Cambodia Trust.
For instance, if you are a basic rate tax payer:
- If you pledge £5.00
- Your donation to us is £4.00
- The government will supplement this with an extra £1.00 - at no cost to you, or to us!
If you are a higher rate taxpayer then it will cost you even less to donate £5.
Some employers also offer 'matched giving' schemes where they match or double your gift at no extra cost to you. Please speak to your employer about the matched giving scheme. If they aren't already operating a scheme like this, perhaps you could encourage them!

Thank you!
