Many businesses adopt a charity and use fundraising events for teambuilding and to attract positive publicity. If your company chooses a charity to support each year, you could promote The Cambodia Trust as the next beneficiary.
If your company has never supported a charity before, you could suggest the idea. Do a presentation on our work and promote the benefits of getting involved, such as teambuilding, increased staff morale and publicity.
UK employees can make tax-effective donations directly from their salaries, through a simple scheme called Payroll Giving. You could help us by promoting Payroll Giving where you work, and encouraging your colleagues to donate to the Cambodia
Trust.
Your business or organisation could sponsor our work by choosing one of our projects and holding fundraising events to raise money for it.
Your business could promote our work in its publicity materials and on its website. MeddiQuest included a leaflet on the Cambodia Trust in a mailshot to its clients, raising awareness of our work.
Your company could use a special offer to raise funds and generate positive publicity. MeddiQuest offered their clients a discount, giving them the option of donating that discount to the Cambodia Trust.

How we can help
- We can work closely with your company to ensure you get the most out of your relationship with the Cambodia Trust.
- We can help to generate positive publicity by promoting your company's support in our newsletters, reports and on our website.
- We can work with you or your company to develop bespoke fundraising and publicity materials.
- We can provide regular reports on how your company’s support is helping people in Cambodia.
- If your organisation provides the funds for something specific (e.g. a piece of equipment), we can put your company’s logo on the item donated and provide you with photos to use in your publications.
- The Cambodia Trust attained ISO 9001:2000 certification in March 2002. We are one of the first NGOs in the world to reach this standard. If your company is working towards certification, we can share the lessons we learnt with your staff.
