Film screening

The power of film….

A film screening can be a powerful way of spreading the word about the problems facing Cambodia's disabled people and the difference you can make by supporting our work.

Our fundraising DVD contains three short films: two 10 minute TV appeals made by the BBC at our projects in Cambodia and Timor Leste, and a 28 minute, documentary-style film, with accompanying speakers' notes.

Here's a short clip from our documentary film. You can see more on our YouTube channel: www.youtube.com/cambodiatrust

You could organise a screening for your family and friends, or in a local school, college or business. If you want to make a whole evening of it, you could also show The Killing Fields - the famous feature film about life under the brutal Khmer Rouge regime, directed and produced by our patrons, Roland Joffé and Lord Puttnam CBE. You should be able to rent the film from any decent DVD shop.

How we can help with your screening:

  • Depending on your location, we may be able to provide a guest speaker to attend your event.
  • We can publicise your event on our website and in our newsletters.
  • We can provide you with our fundraising DVD and other publicity materials.

Please email office[at]cambodiatrust.org.uk to request your copy of our DVD. You can order copies from our Shop.
